21 before 22

Hello!! At the end of July I had my 21st birthday! I had a wonderful day spent with my family and my parents took me out for lunch. It was very relaxing. This is also the year I started my senior year of college. Yikes! School just started a couple weeks ago, but I am already realizing the reality of my senior status. This is my fourth year of being in college now. Four years! It is all very exciting and scary at the same time. I am looking forward to what the year will bring.

A couple years ago, I made a list of things to do before my 20th birthday and although I didn't accomplish everything on that list it was still a lot of fun to make.  I decided to make a similar list for this year. I came up with 21 things I want to do in my 21st year of life. Here's my list:

21 things to do before 22
    I.      Graduate nursing school
   II.      Run five different 5ks
  III.      Donate blood four times
 IV.      Sell something I’ve made
   V.      Meet a blog friend in real life
VI.      Attempt to learn a new language
VII.      See the midnight showing of The Hobbit
VIII.      Go hiking with the roomies
IX.      Have a roomie dinner night
  X.      Go without internet/phone/TV for 1 week
XI.      Go without chocolate/sweets for a week
XII.      Pay for the person behind me in line
XIII.      Sew a jacket for myself
XIV.      Sew something new every other month
XV.      Write a random letter to a stranger to brighten their day
XVI.      Don’t worry so much
XVII.      Think more positive

Have a wonderful day!

  1. Happy Belated Birthday! You have some beautiful goals on that list you've made. I think the idea of making the list is great. Your S.D. pics are awesome too! I've never been out there and would love to go someday. Have you read about the Minnesota Meet up happening next weekend? A bunch of sewers are getting together. Sadly I won't make this one but they plan on making it happen again. There is a Facebook group up for it too; I'll send a separate comment with the link :D

  2. Happy belated! What a list of goals -- you will have to keep us updated on what you accomplish!

  3. Hey, my birthday is at the end of July, too! We're just 2 years apart. What new language are you thinking of learning?
