Sew Grateful Week Giveaway {Closed}

EDIT: Thank you to everyone for participating! The winner has been chosen and it is Jill!

When I heard about Sew Grateful Week, I thought it sounded like a wonderful idea, so I decided to participate. Debi, of My Happy Sewing Place started this event in 2011 and it's an opportunity to give back and express gratitude to the online sewing community. I have been blogging for almost a year and I am always amazed at the response I get from the sewing/blogging community. Everyone is so encouraging and kind! It's so great being able to connect with others who share my love of sewing even though we're hundreds of miles apart!

Today's activity for Sew Grateful week is a giveaway! A giveaway is a great way to start a week of gratitude off! I decided to give fabric away.

Here's what's up for grabs:

One winner will get both pieces of fabric. I don't know the exact amount but they are both at least 1.5 yards. The one on the left is probably even 2 yards. The one on the right does have a piece cut out of it, but there is still a lot there.

To enter the giveaway:

  • Leave a comment telling me what you are sew grateful for.
  • For an extra entry, follow my blog and comment saying you did so.
  • Giveaway is open until February 10th at 7pm CST.
  • Open Worldwide
  • Also, make sure there's a way for me to contact you if you win.

  5. Those are really cute fabrics!
    I am really thankful for the online sewing community. I don't have any IRL friends who are into sewing and honestly I don't really have the time to keep up and be a good IRL friend. But I love talking to people online and they don't get too offended if I drop off the face of the earth for a week, month, or more.
    They are so helpful and friendly

  6. Beautiful! I am sew grateful for the online sewing community because without all the inspiration and how to details everyone has given as well as their trials and successes I would never have begun and continued on my first project... I am in the middle of my first dress and so excited! Thank you for the opportunity to enter!

  8. Gorgeous fabric! I am sew grateful for all of you guys in the sewing blog community. I am self taught from the internet and I don't really know anyone who sews clothes in real life (noone understands me - boo hoo). Without the encouragement of people on here I would never have made so much progress.

  12. Gorgeous fabric! :-)

    I'm Sew Grateful for the online sewing community (as are most of the other posters here, haha!). I've made so many lovely new friends, learnt a lot, and been able to indulge in all sorts of sewing-geekery conversations that I wouldn't have been able to do otherwise. Plus, it's a great motivator, seeing all those other completed projects that people post!
