EDIT: Thank you to everyone for participating! The winner has been chosen and it is Jill!
When I heard about Sew Grateful Week, I thought it sounded like a wonderful idea, so I decided to participate. Debi, of My Happy Sewing Place started this event in 2011 and it's an opportunity to give back and express gratitude to the online sewing community. I have been blogging for almost a year and I am always amazed at the response I get from the sewing/blogging community. Everyone is so encouraging and kind! It's so great being able to connect with others who share my love of sewing even though we're hundreds of miles apart!
Today's activity for Sew Grateful week is a giveaway! A giveaway is a great way to start a week of gratitude off! I decided to give fabric away.
Here's what's up for grabs:
One winner will get both pieces of fabric. I don't know the exact amount but they are both at least 1.5 yards. The one on the left is probably even 2 yards. The one on the right does have a piece cut out of it, but there is still a lot there.
To enter the giveaway:
- Leave a comment telling me what you are sew grateful for.
- For an extra entry, follow my blog and comment saying you did so.
- Giveaway is open until February 10th at 7pm CST.
- Open Worldwide
- Also, make sure there's a way for me to contact you if you win.

That is really lovely fabric!! I am sew grateful for sewing because I'm finding something that I can do and feel good about my abilities while also making fun things for the people I love! And I'm Sew grateful for it opening up a whole community of bloggers with great stories, advice, personalities and projects!!
ReplyDeleteThose are really cute fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI am really thankful for the online sewing community. I don't have any IRL friends who are into sewing and honestly I don't really have the time to keep up and be a good IRL friend. But I love talking to people online and they don't get too offended if I drop off the face of the earth for a week, month, or more.
They are so helpful and friendly
Beautiful! I am sew grateful for the online sewing community because without all the inspiration and how to details everyone has given as well as their trials and successes I would never have begun and continued on my first project... I am in the middle of my first dress and so excited! Thank you for the opportunity to enter!
ReplyDeleteVery nice fabric. I am sew great full to be retired and able to sew just about any time I want and to have sufficient funds to sew just about all I want. I am also great full to all of you who blog and give me inspiration to make things I never thought I would.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous fabric! I am sew grateful for all of you guys in the sewing blog community. I am self taught from the internet and I don't really know anyone who sews clothes in real life (noone understands me - boo hoo). Without the encouragement of people on here I would never have made so much progress.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have this! I am sew grateful for all the support I have from my husband, who doesn't get upset if I buy some new patterns or new fabric ;)
